Where Your Money Goes

Every dollar raised through Wheelie Week goes toward creating a more accessible Australia.

Here’s how.

Fund Allocation Model

Wheelie Week is a registered not-for-profit (application for charity status submitted to the ACNC).

We are committed to transparency in how funds are raised, managed, and distributed.

Funds raised through the campaign are directed toward three areas:

  • Accessibility Education & Awareness: Community programs, workshops, and resources that help people understand and act on accessibility barriers in everyday environments.
  • Barrier Reporting & Advocacy: Documenting real-world accessibility issues identified by participants, and working with designers, planners, councils, and businesses to address them.
  • Campaign Operations: The infrastructure that makes Wheelie Week possible — the platform, safeguarding, insurance, and participant support systems. We keep this lean and transparent.

Our Commitment

We believe in accountability. As Wheelie Week grows, we commit to publishing annual impact reports detailing how funds were raised, where they went, and what changed as a result.

Our board provides oversight of all financial decisions. Expenses are subject to dual director approval, and the organisation operates under clear governance policies from day one.

This isn’t a one-off campaign. It’s the start of a national movement — and we’re building the infrastructure to sustain it for the long term.
